On foot or by bicycle

The best way to reach the treetop walk from the immediate vicinity is on foot or by bicycle.

• From the Promenade in Heringsdorf, walk or cycle along the Damenbadweg (at theater tent Chapeau Rouge / ice skating rink), the Delbrückstraße and Friedenstraße to the main street.

• Cross the road at the pedestrian lights and turn left towards Heringsdorf railway station.

• Keep to the right on the railway station forecourt and you will already be able to see the entrance area to the treetop walk.

• There are numerous bicycle stands by the treetop walk.

By public transport

The Treetop Walk Usedom is situated directly at Heringsdorf railway station and is therefore very easy to reach by bus and train. Due to the difficult traffic and parking situation in and around the Kaiserbäder, we recommend that you travel by public transport, especially by train. This way you can avoid the traffic jams and save time looking for a parking space, as well as make a positive contribution to the environment.

• The regional trains running on the island of Usedom all stop at the Seebad Heringsdorf station.

• From the direction of Swinemünde/Świnoujście, you can also take the train directly to Seebad Heringsdorf station from the Świnoujście Centrum stop (four stops, journey time is 10 minutes).

• Guests from the Achterland region of the island of Usedom can park their cars free-of-charge in the Park+Ride car park at Schmollensee station and then take the train from there to Seebad Heringsdorf (3 stops, journey time is 11 minutes).

• All the UBB regional buses which pass through Heringsdorf also stop at Heringsdorf station. Those are lines 281, 284, 285 and 286.

• The Kaiserbäderlinie 290/291 also stops at Heringsdorf station.

• Spa card holders  (KaiserbäderCard) can travel on all the listed buses free-of-charge.

You can find information on the train departure times on, and for the regional buses

With the excursion train

Excursion trains run within the Kaiserbäder (imperial spas) of Ahlbeck, Heringsdorf and Bansin, as well as between the neighbouring Polish town of Swinemünde/Świnoujście and the Kaiserbäder (imperial spas) resorts. In Heringsdorf, all the trains stop at the Kaiserhof Hotel – from there, it is only a 900-metre walk to the treetop walk.
